SOREL unveils the Ambler, a model that builds on the brand's legacy. Its design embodies the next generation of the iconic Caribouboot, while being crafted for year-round, all-weather style. This waterproof shoe features a clean design that retains the original DNA, with a full-grain leather upper and comfortable cushioning for a sleek, confident look that works just as well for daily wear as it does on the weekend.

"We took a rugged vulcanized rubber boot, originally built to withstand the harshest Canadian winters, and reinterpreted it as a lightweight, comfortable mule,"explains Michael Minter, VP of Brand at SOREL. "It still offers waterproof protection that sets a new standard for its category, along with the stylistic versatility to be dressed up or worn more casually." Beyond the classic version, priced at $130, the Ambler is available in several colors and finishes, including an LX version in premium leather and a Fireside version designed for extra warmth.

This launch is part of the Fall/Winter 2026 collection, which, on the eve of the brand's 65th anniversary, focuses on the fusion of heritage and innovation. SOREL is revisiting its essential silhouettes while developing its newer franchises, combining arctic performance with après-ski style, from sneakers and slippers to snow boots.

With the Ambler, SOREL demonstrates its ability to keep a strong heritage alive, born in 1962 with the Caribou. The Ambler is now available at Sorel.com for 130 euros.
