Demetz unveils HYDROGEN, its new pro-model created alongside Léonie Périault, professional triathlete, Olympian, and member of the Team Demetz. A collaboration born from a shared vision of sport, where the pursuit of performance is driven first and foremost by lightness, comfort, and the joy of movement.

True to its name, the frame is all about lightness: every detail has been crafted so you forget you're even wearing it. Its cylindrical single-lens design provides an expansive field of vision for optimal environmental awareness, while the temples—featuring carbon blades and slim, non-slip tips—combined with the new Demetz nose pad, ensure a precise fit even during the most intense efforts. As for the lenses, two colorways are equipped with a photochromic RAFALE Contrast category 1-3 lens, which automatically adapts to changing light conditions.

The model includes a special pro-model version developed with Léonie Périault, featuring an "LP" logo subtly integrated into the lens within a flower design. "Feeling free while pushing yourself, forgetting your gear, and simply rediscovering the joy of the movement": this approach, dear to an athlete accustomed to the demands of elite competition, inspired HYDROGEN. Designed for cycling, running, golf, or cross-country skiing, the unisex frame weighs just 28.2 grams and can be fitted with prescription lenses via a clip-on optical kit or the new custom MAXIMUSsolution, which integrates the prescription directly into the lens material.

Demetz relies on its athletes to develop products with strong technical legitimacy, while reinforcing its French expertise in sports optics and prescription solutions. HYDROGEN comes with a hard case.

Part of the Atmos Series collection, this ultra-lightweight frame was co-designed with the Olympic triathlete and Team Demetz member.
