FILAandHighsnobiety present an archive-inspired tennis capsule, designed by the media brand to pay homage to FILA’s Italian golden age in the 1970s and 1980s. From the archives to the court: the collection reinterprets classic silhouettes, iconic stripes, and signature FILA colors for an everyday wardrobe.
At its peak, FILA brought a distinctly Italian attitude to tennis: bold colors, graphic stripes, form-fitting sportswear, and a natural balance between performance and style. Worn by players like Björn Borg, Adriano Panatta, and Corrado Barazzutti, the brand embodied the era when tennis became a true cultural style. For this collaboration, Highsnobiety delved into the archives to study original pieces, from the Settanta tracksuit to the 1988 Lawn Tennis polo. Rather than simply reissuing them, the design team used these archives as a foundation, selecting timeless elements and refining them through subtle choices in materials, cuts, and finishes.

The collection is built around the concept of "Play to Rally": a rally only exists because someone hits the ball back. Each piece starts with a FILA archival reference and reinterprets it. Highlights include a raglan tracksuit in fine-striped jacquard, a cotton piqué polo inspired by the 1988 model, a striped-collar t-shirt, as well as a new nylon and suede sneaker and a canvas tote bag. The palette draws from the brand's tennis heritage, featuring off-whites, signature navy, grey, and bright red.
Shot in Berlin, the campaign "The Rally Within" transforms the city into a court against a backdrop of modernist architecture, using multiple exposures to turn the rally into a dialogue with oneself. To mark the launch, both brands are hosting a day at the Villa d'Este on Lake Como on November 4th.
The collection will be available worldwide starting November 4, 2026, at highsnobiety.comandfila.de, with prices ranging from 60 to 130 euros for apparel and accessories, and 140 euros for the sneaker.
