Mizuno places speed at the heart of its new range. With Hyperwarp 2, the Japanese brand unveils three running shoes designed to meet the demands of competition. The Hyperwarp Pure 2collection,Hyperwarp Elite and Hyperwarp Racer combine specific foam and plate technologies to offer different approaches to speed, the result of a collaborative effort between design teams, research departments, and elite runners.

This range embodies the brand's philosophy, backed by over 120 years of expertise, centered on its Japanese Engineering and Technical Simplicity approach, which aims for a balance between performance and the runner's natural movement.

At the top of the range, the Hyperwarp Pure 2 focuses entirely on lightness, weighing in at just 135 grams. It combines Enerzy XP+foam, enriched with an additional 3.5 mm compared to the first version, with a full-length 3D carbon plate called the Smooth Speed Plate for fluid transitions and efficient propulsion. The Hyperwarp Elite, at 160 grams, seeks the perfect balance between dynamism and stability, featuring a midsole that combines two layers of Enerzy XP+andXPfoam, paired with the same full-length carbon plate.

Finally, the Hyperwarp Racer, the heaviest at 200 grams, offers an approach focused on control and stability. It combines a layer of Enerzy XP+ foam with a base Enerzy NXT+ and relies on a carbon-reinforced Wave plate for a controlled stride at high speeds all the way to the finish line. All three share a 3 mm drop.

With these three distinct models, Mizuno pursues a single quest for performance by meeting the needs of various runner profiles. It is the brand's way of asserting its ambitions in the highly competitive segment of carbon-plated racing shoes. The Hyperwarp 2 range will launch on November 3, 2026.
