The North Face reconnects with eYe JUNYA WATANABE MAN. The outdoor brand announces the global return of this partnership, its first joint collaboration since 2017. This highly anticipated comeback focuses on two standout pieces: a reinterpretation of The North Face’s iconic Mountain Jacket and a signature bomber jacket.
The collection is built on a dialogue between two worlds. On one side, Junya Watanabe’s avant-garde approach; on the other, The North Face’s technical heritage, rooted in utility and function. The revisited Tech Vest Mountain Jacket integrates an authentic, functional vintage Search and Rescue vest grafted onto the silhouette of the mountain jacket. The Bomber Jacket fuses the MA-1 cut with technical fabrics inspired by classic workwear and military design. Both pieces perfectly capture the philosophy of the eYe line: repurposing functional clothing into fashion objects without erasing their original purpose.

Launched in 2005, eYe JUNYA WATANABE MAN is the designer’s secondary line within the JUNYA WATANABE MAN universe. While the main collection is built around a strong seasonal concept, eYe adopts a more versatile and accessible approach through timeless designs that leave plenty of room for styling. It is a line that has built its own community over the years.
The North Face is a pioneer in the field, and reuniting with a name as respected as Junya Watanabe confirms its ability to exist just as much on the peaks as it does in the fashion world. The two-piece collection is available on thenorthface.com and at select retailers, with prices ranging from 770 to 1200 euros.
