In the heart of the 10th arrondissement, inside a former textile factory on Rue Martel, a new 1,300m² fitness sanctuary has just opened its doors. Rune was not designed as just another facility, but as a club in the truest sense: a sense of belonging, shared rituals, and a community that recognizes itself.

Performance remains at the heart of the project, featuring a selection of the best disciplines in urban fitness today: Hyrox, Reformer, Cycling, Pilates, Bootcamp and Yoga. But each has been optimized to amplify group energy. During Hyrox, teams are formed to spark friendly competition. In Cycling, the warm-up is done as a peloton. Throughout the club, the same idea prevails: we go further together. The glass-walled studios reflect this philosophy, making sessions visible and shared as a collective experience, while the restaurant and coworking space extend the vibe well beyond the workout.

Rune was born from the meeting of two complementary visions: Manon’s and Martin’s. He wanted to bring everything needed to become a better everyday athlete under one roof. She views sport as a way to practice self-care and build connections, through a wellness approach that doesn't separate training from recovery, or health from enjoyment. "We couldn't find what we were looking for in the Parisian fitness scene, so we decided to create it ourselves," they explain.

The club also takes a stand against a trend from New York: the "dark room" studios popularized by SoulCycle, where the immersive atmosphere often masks high-density crowds. While our Cycling classes remain immersive—almost like a nightclub—all other areas at Rune are bathed in natural light, offering true standards of space and comfort. "In a dense city like Paris, the real luxury is perhaps no longer being isolated in the dark, but being able to share a moment without stepping on your neighbor."

Rune is rooted in its neighborhood, with food provided by local partners and a social run that heads out every Saturday along the Canal Saint-Martin before bringing everyone back to the club for coffee.

The club is open every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 14 rue Martel.

Spanning 1,300m², this new Parisian club brings together six studios, a restaurant, a coworking space, and locker rooms with a sauna, all centered around one belief: sport is better together.
