Joma expands its performance range with the RS-9000, an ultralight, high-performance racing shoe that tips the scales at just 126 grams. Developed and tested at the J Lab, the brand's laboratory, it is designed for experienced runners looking for efficiency, responsiveness, and control when the pace picks up.

Every component serves a single goal: reducing weight without sacrificing racing performance. The minimalist, breathable, and extremely lightweight upper is crafted from nylon yarn reinforced with polyamide, two materials that hug the foot and ensure effective moisture management. The midsole, featuring an 8 mm drop, incorporates Light Reactive technology made from a special injected Pebax for responsiveness and impact absorption, paired with an internal carbon plate designed for efficient energy transfer and better stability at high speeds. Underneath, a CPU outsole concentrates grip on the most high-wear areas.

To bring this lightness to life, Joma has built its campaign around the 126-gram figure, comparing it to iconic culinary staples from each city. In Paris, the RS-9000 weighs the same as two croissants. This concept is applied to six special editions, each inspired by the identity of a race: the 20K de Paris, the Venice Marathon, the Behobia-San Sebastián, the Maratona do Porto, the Firenze Marathon and the Marrakech Marathon, with comparisons ranging from the Venetian mask to the six pintxos of Behobia's gilda.

The Parisian edition draws its inspiration from the race's slogan, "Breathe to the rhythm of your run", with splashes of color running along the sole like currents of air, conveying a sense of momentum and movement.
