MM6 Maison Margiela and Havaianas reveal their collaboration during the MM6 Fall/Winter 2026 runway show, ahead of the full collection launch. It is a partnership that may seem surprising at first, but makes perfect sense through a new take on the Brazilian brand's iconic silhouette, built around the number six in reference to MM6.

The encounter is based on two complementary visions. MM6 designs "ready when worn"pieces that truly come to life once worn, while Havaianas is a genuine everyday icon adopted by millions. Together, they offer a fresh perspective on an instantly recognizable silhouette: Havaianas brings its heritage and codes, while MM6 subverts them with its offbeat and unconventional approach.

The collaboration gives rise to two distinct interpretations of the classic rubber flip-flop. The Slim 6Toe feature a silhouette inspired by the shape of the foot, complete with a sixth toe, while the Top 6Layers take MM6’s deconstructive approach to the extreme. Created exclusively for the runway, the latter layer six differently shaped Havaianas soles to form a deliberately irregular platform, transforming one of the brand's most recognizable elements into a graphic, repetitive structure.

The number six permeates the entire creative language of the collection through a play on repetition, alteration, and the unexpected transformation of Havaianas' signature codes.

The full collection will be available starting in May 2027, with the Top 6Layers remaining exclusive to the runway show.
