Barbie adds a new figure to its Signature collection: Angel Reese. The basketball player, entrepreneur, and founder of the Angel C. Reese Foundation now has her own doll, unveiled by Mattel in partnership with Reebok. A detail that sneakerheads will appreciate: the doll is wearing a pair of Reebok Angel Reese 1s in an exclusive Barbie pink colorway, and this same shoe will be available for purchase to the general public.

The special edition of the Angel Reese 1 features the same technical construction as the player's signature model, with Barbie pink accents and co-branded details on the tongue and insole. It will be available in both adult and children's sizes, a choice that aligns with the message being sent to young girls.

The launch was hosted in Chicago during All-Star Weekend at the TOGETHXR House, a media outlet focused on women's sports that Angel Reese co-owns. Visitors were able to explore The Angel Reese Dream Closet, pose in a life-sized Barbie box, and get early access to a clothing capsule designed with Barbie, featuring a custom jersey, t-shirts, and hats inspired by the doll's outfit.

Beyond the product itself, the campaign highlights a broader trend: women's sports have established themselves as a cultural force in their own right, capable of attracting major brands like Mattel and Reebok. Angel Reese, who has graced the covers of Vogue America and Harper's Bazaar Icons, is one of its most prominent faces.

The Barbie Signature Angel Reese doll is available at Target, Walmart, Amazon, and the Mattel Shop. The Reebok Angel Reese 1 "Barbie" will be released on August 3rd on Reebok.com, at DICK'S Sporting Goods, and at Foot Locker. On the same day, a Barbie Game Day will accompany the matchup between the Atlanta Dream and the Las Vegas Aces.
