Vans and SZA unveil Vansza. Before its official release, the collaboration comes to life for the first time through an immersive experience hosted during New York Fashion Week. Designed as an extension of the collection, the activation invites visitors to explore the themes and visual storytelling that shaped the project. It is open to the public on September 10 and 11 at 260 Bowery, ahead of the full campaign reveal.

At the heart of the collection lies SZA’s world, where instinct, creativity, and exploration collide. "This collection really reflects how I live and what inspires me every day," the artist explains. "I wanted to create pieces that are comfortable, functional, and expressive, whether you're on a trail, in the city, or discovering something new about yourself." It’s an approach rooted in freedom and play, inviting a new generation to embrace their individuality.

The standout piece, the Vansza LX Tabi Hiker introduces a bold silhouette and a design language never before seen at Vans, featuring a split-toe construction and outdoor-ready technical details. Alongside it, SZA reimagines several of the brand's classics: the Knu Skool as an easy-to-wear mule, a RealTree camouflage version, and the Authentic Kickdown with a collapsible heel—directly inspired by the artist's habit of stepping on the backs of her shoes, now transformed into a functional feature.

The collection is accompanied by an apparel line that channels SZA’s personal style. Key pieces include the Workwear Trompe L'Oeil Fleece Set which turns a worn-in workwear jacket from her personal collection into a photorealistic print, while a denim jacket and pants reinterpret vintage utility wear codes.

The Vansza Drop 1 collection will be available starting October 22, 2026, in stores and on Vans.com, with Drop 2 following on April 8, 2027.

Ahead of its October 22 launch, the artist's world comes to life through a nature-inspired activation.
