EA SPORTS FC brought together the worlds of sports and entertainment on September 15 in New York for the "FC 27 World Premiere"event. Football legends, content creators, actors, artists, and athletes gathered to celebrate the game ahead of early access on September 18 and the worldwide release on September 25. Guests included Zlatan Ibrahimović, Thierry Henry, Luís Figo, Daniel Sturridge, Lewis Capaldi, Aminematue, KSI, Odell Beckham Jr. or even the cast of Ted Lasso.

The event primarily served as the first-ever reveal of gameplay for FC 27 via livestream, featuring innovations directly inspired by community feedback. The main broadcast generated over 2.6 million cumulative views, with a peak audience of 276,000 concurrent viewers. During the main event, Zlatan and Marlon faced off against Thierry Henry and KSI, followed by a second match that showcased the first gameplay footage. It was also an opportunity for creators to discover The Grounds, the new social playground in FC 27, designed for customizing your team and developing your football identity beyond the traditional match.

The event continued with the LALIGA x FC 27 Matchday, bringing together legends Javier Mascherano, Marcelo, Rivaldo and Luís Figo facing off against international creators like KSI or xBuyer, in a series of technical challenges and a main event match featuring both football and gaming stars.
