Element Skateboards announces thatAlexis Lacroixhas turned pro, officially joining the brand's professional team. Hailing from the Montreal area, the skater grew up immersed in nature—hiking, camping, snowboarding, mountain biking, and climbing—before skateboarding took center stage in his life. These influences continue to fuel his approach, defined by creativity, unpredictability, and a distinct personality.

Hitchhiking across North America with a skateboard and a guitar, busking in Europe, playing in bands, and traveling: Alexis has always followed his own path. This sense of freedom is reflected in his skating, making him one of the most unique figures of his generation. Since joining Element, he has brought this singular vision to the team's trips and sessions, including a recent appearance in the Search project, where he discovered new possibilities in the most unexpected terrain.

"Turning pro for Element feels like the natural next step in everything we've shared so far. I've always tried to approach skating in my own way, to stay curious, and to keep exploring. Seeing my name on an Element board is pretty surreal," the skater says. It’s an approach praised by Bertrand Trichet, the brand's Global Marketing Director: "Alexis embodies so much of what defines Element: creativity, individuality, exploration, and the freedom to carve your own path."

To celebrate this new chapter, Alexis's first pro part was unveiled on September 19th at the Dime Store in Montreal, during a private screening for friends and family, followed by a performance by his band, Trounoir. His pro part is now available worldwide on Thrasher Magazine, alongside his very first professional board for Element.

This milestone highlights the brand's commitment to its DNA—blending skate culture, nature, and creative freedom—since its inception in 1992.
